Are you not embarrassed that a Celtic team which reached it's peak two years ago, has no money, no ambition, is carrying a lot of kids, signs players well past their prime on loan deals, and, let's face it, are out of Europe for another year, is still wiping the floor with you on a regular basis.
Boumsong is undoubtedly a good player but by signing idiots like Prso and Andrews, your're digging yourselves into a bigger financial mess. Expect the sale of Ibrox soon!
Lots of love.

How you doin mate. im new here and as im a villa fan as much as i am rangers i thought id answer ur question.
Yes we are embarrassed losing to "them" any old firm defeat is always hard to take. the last 2 or 3 seasons (not including this one) have been hard for most gers fans. fair enough we managed to do the treble a couple of yeahs back, but not even that could hide the fact we are a club im massive debt and generally a lot of trouble.
We lost 7 times to celtic in a row, but then managed to stop the rot by beatint them 2-1 in the CIS cup and 10 days later 2-0 in the league. after a shocking start to the season we managed to claw our way back to the top of the SPL (for a week) and are now only 3points behind celtic, which im sure you`ll agree is not a lot in any league. last few years haven`t been the best for rangers but we have just raised over £50M through a shares issue thus clearing most of our debt and can stall manage to get top class players like boumsong, Prso, Buffel etc to sign for us.
Go back a few years and it was celtic who couldnt do anything to stop us. we won the league 9 seasons in a row and we hold a world record 50 league titles where as celtic have only won it.... i`ll check later but are some way off rangers. you find thats the way things are up here... its all rangers for a while, then its all celtic. so far this season celtic beat us at park head 1-0 in a game most celtic fans i know said they were lucky to get all 3 points we then beat them 2-1 at ibrox and then 2-0 at ibrox 10 days later then they beat us 2-1 at park head last week we have each won 2 games against each other so its not as 1 sided as u think.

Ellis owns Villa lock, stock and barrel so until he dies Villa won't spend another penny on talent. We have a great youth system but it won't be enough to save us.
As far as your situation in Glasgow is concerned, Celtic are just as miserly (maybe more) than Villa, and rather than spend money they prefer to get players on loan. Fair play to Rangers, they might not have the money but they are STILL signing players on big wages. However, I fear that some of these signings (Prso and Buffel) are absolute panic buys and they still won't prevent an ageing and very ordinary Celtic side from doing the double up there.
The two sides are dying a death up there. In the premiership, Celtic would be mid-table (these days!) but Rangers woud be definitely be relegation candidates. I'm from Belfast and pledge no allegiance to either side (believe me!) but that's an honest answer!

I could could score 25 goals in 37 appeances in the SPL playing with a hangover, a very nasty cold and an ingrowing toe-nail. Have you seen Motherwell's defence?
Dado Prso was a very ordinary striker in a very good Monaco side when Rangers came calling. The SPL these days is one of the weakest leagues in Europe and I well remember the days when Aberdeen and Dundee United were destroying defences across Europe in the Eighties.
Money talks these days, my fiend, and unfortunately, that money has went to two clubs only, Celtic and Rangers, These two teams moving to the Premiership is the best thing that could happen to football in Scotland.
I take it you're a Croat!

Celtic gets that money because they are probably the most successful club in the league's history. Their 3-0 win over Hibernian a few years back shows that they are great.

As a villa fan you realise that Aston Villa are a mediocre team, with no real hope of any success, apart from trying to stay in the premiership. Would you rather support a team whos only hope is to survive in a league dominated by the French, or Support a team who gets to travel around Europe every year, even if it is only for a month or two. If Rangers and Celtic were in the Premiership, Aston Villa would be relegated within a year.
