email all the members telling them this forum is still here, some might come back and start postign again, it wont be spam as they agreed to use there email when they signed up, its worth a shot, better then not doing it :angel:

I think we should send a mass email once all the changes are implemented and all mess in the forum is cleared. A new layout and a new system will convince them ... and in the meantime, lets wait for the changes to come before sending any email notification to past members

You know what Omar said about the layout changes, that it'll take a while, maybe all we should wait is the super-mods to be appointed.

send them an email now just to remind them they joined, then after the cleanup, send them all an e-mail saying the new mods and forums are in place. so the ones that didnt care might have interest again.
