I think it would have still happened. Games are a matter of morale and esfuerzo, something the veracruz defence didnt show that game while Tigre offence did. Game was hilarious though....

You're right.
Many times though, it is one player that is the motivator for the team. He may not have to say anything, his mere presence could calm and motivate.
And I'm not just talking about Blanco, any team.
