Guys I'm an Irish football fan and will be travelling to israel for our game in March next year.

I'd appreciate some advice and happy to return the compliment for anybody travelling to Dublin.

Is this the most appropriate messageboard (English language) for the national team - only one I could find?

I assume the senior game will be played i nthe Ramat Gan Stadium - Date appears to be fixed - Saturday March 26th - I assume an evening kickoff then due to the Sabbath

Any idea ofa likely venue/kickoff time for the U21 game on the Friday. - will this likely be a daytime game due to the Sabbath starting at sundown. In the past have these game sbeen played in Tel Aviv or around the country.

I arrive at 6am Friday an ddepart 7am Sunday so trust there is no chance of the main game being moved to a sunday particularly as you play France on the wednesday.

hello there, as far as i know ther is another good forum/messageboard, www.foot.ie i was wondering if you are travelling in a group or are there many people going to the game, i have tried to get some of my friends to go, but some are scared of the security situation in israel and won't go and others cannot go because of other engagements. i would be delighted if i could meet with other fans to travel there as i wouldn't like to go alone, but i am really desperate to go, and to see israel also. i cannot help you with info about the game as it is all a bit uncertain re: venues etc, God knows maybe it will end up in cyprus or somewhere else if security is bad. please let me know if u are interested in helping me?? thanks... julie Guys I'm an Irish football fan and will be travelling to israel for our game in March next year.

The game is in Ramat Gan! The Location is close to Tel Aviv. So if you will go to Israel, it is very close for you to come! In either case, it will be on a saturday night possibly..

hope to see you there :D

Ther is alot of Irish Pubs in Israel, and i think 1 in Tel Aviv, so feel right at home with your lagers!
