I think Gerrard should be given a go see if it makes him a better player for NT as it did with Liverpool....

I would love to see Gerrard captain the side- However, Lampard would be another good choice.

When he calms down i think he should be CONSIDERED not given directly, i think Carragher should be given for atleast ONE MATCH he has worked so hard over the course of his career IMO the hardest working player in the world, and that kind of captain would rub off on all the players and this could win England a Second WC becasue they will have one thing no one else has a Industrious and Hard woeking team with no EGO's.

Dunno man. To me England cannot play as a team. They got too many individuals. Too many stars. But yeah just like in the Poll thread for the game:

Well, we won the group. After Sven finally decided to try a defensive midfielder alongside one of Lampard or Gerrard, after an injury though. beckham can't be captain, he tries to do too much with it, my preference would be John Terry.
