France coach Raymond Domenech has hinted that he may drop Thierry Henry following the Arsenal striker's dip in form for his national side.
He told the News of the World: "Thierry is going through a bad spell. Perhaps he has some problems in his head.

"Thierry is not indispensable and he has not been performing so I may have to look at that."

Henry has played well for the Gunners this season but has scored only once in 10 games for Les Blues.

Former World Champions France were held to a goalless draw by the Republic of Ireland in the Stade de France on Saturday and are not a shoe-in to qualify from Group Three - where they are one of four teams with five points.

France look a spent force based on their performance last night

Domenech added: "My main concern is to find an attack that scores goals.

"It's not only around Thierry that we build our team, otherwise when the day comes when he's injured we'll be in trouble.

"When things aren't right up there, you end up out of position on the pitch or you arrive late or go where you shouldn't go at the wrong time.

"It's a problem we have to sort out."

Good point. Also he should be believed in and encouraged by the manager, then the goals will come.

Don't you also have Cisse? He has been playing well for Liverpool.

Kopa? Never heard of him. Any good?
Or are you talking about the one that retired a while ago?

Yeah, Cisse plays for France, he got a game against Ireland last week in the WC qualifiers. The player they're talking about is Olivier Kapo Obou (shortened to Kapo), young ex-Auxerre player at Juventus. I think he's about 23-24.

Thing is, Kapo, Cisse, Luyindula, Govou, Saha are simply too crap for Les Bleus. They can call up all the strikers they want, but France have only 2 decent strikers. Henry and Trez.

Panama have a national team?
Yeah, of course, I couldn't name a country that doesn't have one!
As was said, they lost 6-0 to USA in the WC Qualifiers not so long ago. :apple:
