Banks, Leiker, Charlton, Beckham, Owen, Keegan.... Who is the greatest English Player ever? What Clubs did they play at? If they played for multiple clubs put which club they were best at like for Bechjam it would Man U and for Owen Liverpool.

Split between two here, the two Bobbies... :)

:star: Bobby Charlton, Man United.
:star: Bobby Moore, West Ham.

Those two IMO are the ones most deserving of being called great.

Keegan is my dads favorite, but I think Lieker is a good choice. most Fans will go with Charlton though simply because of his amazing 1966 run.

i think he was dropped for geoff hurst, which turned out to be a good decision for england because he along with a soviet linesman made the difference in the final, but over the course of his entire career greaves was a much more prolific goalscorer than hurst ever was. My other pick keegan proved his greatness in both the english and german league's, at hamburg sv he won the european footballer of the year 2 years in a row, no other englishman has won it more than once.

YA will that is what I am talking about. I think most people will go with Charlton. I have question why is Keagan such a bad coach?

Yeah, I'm very glad that choice was made - will any other players ever score a WC Final hat-trick?
And about Keegan, good points there, it's hard to dispute that he was one of the best English players.

I'm thinking my primary choice, best ever English player, is Moore.
I don't think Keegan is as bad as some think, obviously the players have a massive part in the success or failure of the team - they should have just as much, if not more, blame.

Bobby Charlton without question although we have had some real mavericks over the years....Marsh,Worthington,Gascoigne,Hudson,Osgood etc.....Keegan just produces attacking teams...lets the defence fend for itself......his teams are very entertaining though!!
