alright well i just got in from my trip tp boston and well her is what i have to say on the game usaully before i post a match report i watch the game again but while i was gone i forgot to set my vcr so i will go on what i saw un person . there were some goods and some bads and i will start with the bads . 1st of all reyna was once again less then impressive for about the 4th of 5th game and will be out against Mexico due to recieving his 2 nd yellow card if we are really going to be a good team we really need hip tp start playing like he has been in the past and there is really no other play maker on the team and i am very curios as too who will be playing his role versus the Mexicans on the 1st. anoter thing that bothered me was we had trouble in the transition from midfield to the attacking 3rd i dont know what it is exactly but something is missing before we used to be much more smoother we were putting together good combonations of short passes as well as long balls but lately that has not been the case maybe its due to reyna play as of late or maybe due to the absence of Wolf and Mathis or maybe a combonation of both .
another thing that has been routine for us is our finishing we should have won this game 5 or 6 to 0 but could not finish on about 3 or 4 golden chances Reyna Stewart and Razov all blew golden chances finishing is something that is going to make or brake us right now we can get away with it but at the big stage we MUST TAKE CARE OF FINISHING !!! and now for the thing that bothered me the most i understand not finishing but the thing that really bothered me was the intensity form the 1st half to the 2nd half ya we won 2-0 but that is not the kind of result that will get us alot of respect ya we should have won BIGGER and had the chances too but the bulk of quality play came in the 1st half and the intensity level form the 1st half to the second half was way down . ya T & T was playing like its baks were broken and it was but thats when we have to take advantage and go for the Kill , a 2 goal lead is not a safe lead and that really did bother me .
Now for the good things. well anytime you can get a goal 73 seconds into the game is always a plus. it happened so fast all i remember was Razov recieiving the ball then slotting it home and then he jumped into Sam's Army ( i was sitting there :thumbsup: )
it was a great start and i really thought after that , that it was going to be at least 4 or 5 to zero . but anyway from what i saw the midfield worked hard to keep the tiempo at our pace and the defense had very little trouble and continued to be the backbone of the team. reyna like i said was off but sanneh armas and stewart all had solid showings , up front razov started off great but wore out a bit as the game went on overall how ever, he had a solid match . Kirvoski was a bit disapointing after coming off the great match against ecuador and i expected a bit more out of him. Keller had very little trouble and had no real problems whenever he was called upon all in all i think it was result that we need to improve on and well it was not impressive but not disaponting we got 3 points and are now almost assured a spot in next years Finals
