in what was a great game to watch especially the last 10 - 15 min the US had cpntrol for nearly the enite match goals scored brian Mcbride frankie hejduk and ante razov the US took adavantage of a mexico red card by scoring 2 of the 3 goals reyna played very well in the midfield as did keller who had hardly any work with the xception of some well paced shots i will be bacl alter with a better report of the match

ok i am back


for the most part the US had complete control there was about a 15 min span in the beging of the 2nd half that mexico prodeced some chances but other than that keller had little work to do in goal. the 1 st goal was a text book goal reyna played stewart down the line and stewart dribbled about 30 yards down the line to the touch line and cut a perfect pass right to the on rushing mcbride who finished from about 6 yards out. then in about the 70 th min cobi jones intercepted a ball and was on a clear brake away and was pulled down resulting in a red card , then about 5 - 10 minutes later hejduk scored off a loose ball that went off the post from a jones shot and the 3rd goal came from a terrible back pass from a mexicn defender to the keeper which was intercepted and slotted home bye razov. this was a very enertianing match to watch for american supporters especially the last 20 or so min which i have to say was a large part to ben olsen and frankie hejduk who both came on as subs and they both really sparked some fire hejduk had been on maybe 2 mins before scoring his goal anyway the vicory gave the US the trophy and now look foward to world cup qualifying in august.

I go to church, with the VCR set to record the game, so I can watch it when I get home. The stupid, f***ing, dumb***, a****le, co******er, bas****, Phoenix television station, showed motocross racing instead of the game. I had to get online to find out the result of the game. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

yes u playes well but did u know that the mexican national team u played was a club in mexico the usuall players werent there that was a club team. usa only produced one goal the other two were given away like we say but that happens in soccer and yes u did win but just so u wont rub anything in it was a mexican club team.
