What are your thoughts about Del Neri? I think that if he does come to Roma, he can do a lot better than Rudi, plus, he has Serie A experience. I hope he can solve our troubles if not right away with time.

the whole voeller situation was a joke,u can't judge a coaches performance after not even 1 month, roma had problems before rudi was there and they'll probably still have problems for a while, for roma's sake if del neri does coach them hopefully he won't be the scapegoat every time something goes wrong.

Well, Rudi himself said that he couldt handle the team the way he wanted and so he prefered to quit. HE was not kicked out, he left on his own and that should tell you something.
I know Roma wont win the CL all of a sudden but Del Neri seems to want to play Roma how it should be played and not like Sella did.

Well its official news now, Del Neri will be our coach for the next two years, I am hearing he will play Totti with one between D'Ago and Cassano with one between Mido or Montella, so the tridente is back! FINALLY!
Lets hope well, I really think he can help us big time.

I am not sure yet how he wants to play the whole formation but it seems he wont play the Totti Cassano pair up front, thank god, He will play Totti Cassano and Montella, that type of tactic.

Montella-Cassano
Totti
should definately work fine plus they have Mido and some other striker... whats his name? Can't remember at the moment. Roma are excellent up front and they have a good back four and midfield... absolutely no reason for them to not qualify for CL. The only thing Roma have to watch out for is locker room morale... with the players that Roma has, Del Neri has to make sure to keep the hot heads in check and make sure that Montella stops bitching about not being in the first team, Cassano stops with the tantrums and starts going to every training session and that Totti doesn't hurl anymore saliva.

First game of Del Neri was Inter and the tie was a good result. I think he can make us play a lot better than Voeller was. He got down the fact that we need to play with the tridente. Hopefully against Livorno we will win.

well i thank voller for accpeting to be our coach right after prandelli going. i also thank him to be a man and resign. baldini tried not to let him go but he was a man and wanted to leave as he saw he couldnt handle the team more. voller is a good coach. but he didnt have that good relation with players. now he is the past .del neri is here and we are getting better.the challenge is still open. there are many matches to go and anything could happen.
