I think this is a good example that IP bans doesn't always work, like in this case the guy changed his attitude and is willing to behave properly, with an IP ban he wouldn't had that second (or fifth) chance.

Although so many times he behaved that way on the forums, at the time we would not have thought it reasonable to give him extra chances as he had wasted lots already. Some people's attitudes don't change anyway.

LOL, no I don't. I know about this guy because he's mentioned where he comes from before and he's also talked about him being younger than me. I'm only 14 so he must be around the age of 12/13, I wouldn't have thought much younger than that. Those posts were made when he was a flamer under other usernames, but you can always tell when it's him and I know that it's him this time too. :)

Yeah, at one point he was starting abusive threads in this Arsenal forum, mainly about me, every day. That was before I was mod.
I think something to stop users making multiple accounts would be good, but I don't know how it would be done. There's always the IP ban I suppose, though I'm not sure whether he was using more than one PC or not.
I think he's around that age because I remember him saying he's younger than me - assuming that's truthful he must be about that age.
As for revealing age, I'm not too worried about it - there's a limit to what a user here could do.

You may be selected to be a moderator when you show you are responsible and would be reliable in such a job. The task you do as moderator, and what one does different to a normal member of the site, is take care of their forum (eg., make threads stickies, close threads), edit offensive/abusive posts and issue warnings to problematic posters in the forum.

Not sure as I've got no say in that. But if you are going to be one it'll probably be a while yet - it takes time and consistent posting amongst other things. Keep going as you are though, that may well get you 'noticed' by the admin/s as long as you can prove you're suitable for a job.
