2-0 both goals from cobi jones The US for the most part has controlled the game and South Africa has only been dangerous on the counter attack i will be back at the end to give a much more detailed report

I was watching a bit of the match. Pretty entertaining from what I saw, enough chances were created, especially by the US.

yeah it ha been a great game especially the laser from ernie stewart but so far the US has dominated with the exception of the speedy counter attack of the South africans they have not done much i will be back after the game with a full detailed report

4-0 US win!!!!!!!!!!!!

on a very entertaining and impressive win for the americans lead by cobi jones with 2 goals and one from captain cladio reyna and a laser from ernie stewart the US for the most part dominated the game. Also i was very impressed with the defesnse of llamosa and especially agoos who won almost every ball he went for. south africa had few good chances and most of there attack came off there speedy counter attack which did create some problems for the defencse but keller was stellar as usaul and was hardly roughed up. no going to the midfield they played very well and controlled the pace of the game and once again anchored by captain claudio reyna created many chances i was a bit upsewt with the play of eddie lewis usually he plays much better but i was glad to see ben olsen on the field and now for the offense Mcbrde played very well in the air and was unlucky to get 2 goals in the air aand i truly believe he is just as good as anyone in the air in the world for the most part the US played an entertaining and great game executing very well and looked sharp. and also before i go i was very pleased to see the crowd get so into the game and like the cooment made about soccer being a cultre we are building ours , just give us time

where did you watch the game

the game was televised on national TV on abc also ther US plays again on the 6th and that game will be on ESPN and then again they play on the 11th on ABC again
