Wenger to Wait on Campbell
Arsene Wenger has insisted he will not rush Sol Campbell back into first-team action, despite criticising Arsenal's defence after the 2-2 draw with Bolton.
Wenger was unhappy that his side surrendered their 100% start to the season and labelled the defence "naive and passive" for Bolton's goals.
But he said: "Of course you need Sol when he's fit again but I think it was a team problem not an individual one.
"I don't know when he'll be ready but it would be stupid to rush Sol back."
Wenger confirmed Campbell would play for Arsenal's reserves against Coventry on Monday evening as part of his comeback from an Achilles tendon injury.
Campbell aggravated the problem while playing for England during Euro 2004 and has subsequently missed the start of the season.
