YES! They finally won today 1-0 againts monterrey. America played a horrible game, EL Piojo Lopez was pathetic and Navia as usual now was bad. Guillermo Ochoa (america's Goalie) played so really good. The ref also missed a clear hand ball by Davino that cost monterrey a penalty.

I just watched a few games from Mexico and noticed that a lot of them dive. A lot of South American players dive, so I didn't intend to single out Mexico's America like that, my bad.

They are one of my favorite teams, including the Pumas. If I'm not mistaken they won the league last year. I'm pretty sure I saw that game. Off topic my bad.

Do they get crap for being named 'America'? I've always wondered.

its ok. About your question, no one really says anything now that i think about it. America is a continent and not just the united states but no one caps on them or anything. They mostly talk shit abput our mascot "eagles" and they call us chicken and stuff like that.

Well America got there asses handed to them by there little brothers el Necaxa. America lost 4-1. The third goal was a corner kick and it went right to the goalies hands and he dropped it and the guy in back of him just tapped it in. The 4 goal was worse, Duilio Davino had the ball all alone in front of the goalie and he tried passing it and the Player from Necaxa easily stole it and was 1 on 1 with the goalie and scored. The only goal from America was scored by claudio lopez. They crossed the ball and he was almost outside the area and he he headed it really high with his back toward the goal and the goalie slipped so it went in.

America is going to play Morelia at home, who sucks bad right now too. I hope they can get a win before facing chivas.

I went to the last America-Morelia game in Morelia. The score of that game was America killing them 6-3. Three goals for Cuauhtemoc and Navia each. It was funny cuz all my uncles were talking shit saying that Morelia was gonna beat America, and they ended up getting blasted!

America lost to Morelia 3-2. America was losing 3-0 and then they scored 2 more goals and nearly tied. America doesnt play bad, they just can't get the ball into the net, know what i mean? The defense is horrible, they ALL suck except Ameli who was suspended for 3 games but he's coming back against Chivas.

That was a good game alot of goals, I was rooting for America but Morelia came out with the win.....lets see how Atlas does agianst Pumas.....
