Benfica, future of soccer in Portugal (my opinion), they should have played like the last games all year long... By far I find the the most exciting team.. I dont think they have any chance now of making it to the CL because they are 6 points behind the blue and whites, and 8 points behind sporting, but they sure where close...

Benfica is in excellent postion to make a run. Porto are self imploding, they just don't know it yet. Sporting are a dangerous team. They may wake up at any moment. Boavista will kick and scream to the bitter end -- they are the real obstacle in our path.

We're starting half our B team due to injuries, we've got what some folks feel is a completely inadequate coach (hint: the person who thinks that has a name that rhymes with "Feel Ya":p ), and more pressure to win than any other club in the Liga.

Despite all this, we remain undefeated and just two points behind the current champion and 2001 CL darlings Boavista. (assuming we get 3 points in Faro...which I am!)

At worst - we're in the CL next season (even if we need to qualify); at best, all is once again right in the universe and Benfica will become champion this May.
