Panathinaikos - Rosenborg 2-1

The first game is always important and Panathinaikos started its European campaign with a precious victory over Norway champions Rosenborg. The Greek champions prevailed 2-1 with Equi Gonzalez a commanding presence. The Argentinian super star scored at the 43rd minute with a wonderful curling shot and doubled his tally at the 79th minute with a marvellous effort and a banana shot. The Norvegians, hitted the post twice through Strand and Berg, scored at the last minute with a long range effort by F. Jonsen.

PANATHINAIKOS: Galinovic, Morris, Munch, Goumas, Kirgiakos, Basinas, Mitu (70´ MAric), Gonzalez, Scacel (88´ Konstantinidis), Papadopoulos, Konstantinou (57´ Andric).

Well, my opinion Panathinaikos game in the first half was terrible. Rosenborg could score. At the second half we were much better and had some good chances. We had Rosenborg's goal before the end because of a malakia of Galinovic :D. Well, the important thing is that we won.
