Very hard anger in israel -

The draw of the date of the Champions League make a very unpleasant situation - the game beetween maccabi tel aviv and bayern will be in the 15 september , the Rosh Hashanah holiday of the israeli .

A very lot senior people from israel and germany try to make a pressure on uefa to precede the date of the game in one day .

If uefa will not change the decision , maccabi will lost a 2 million dollar and will be a very unpleasant situation to the israeli fans .

So is there a religious reason why the game won't be played on September 15th, or is there a different reason - eg., congestion, city will be over-crowded?

The reason it's only religious !

And there is a updating - UEFA doesn't accepted to change the date of the game .

And tell me you if this act of UEFA don't made by political interest !

once again israel's arrogance shows, it's israels problem not uefa's.

But still you've got to be fair to and respect the religion... maybe UEFA could have at least attempted a compromise rather than refusing point-blank to shift the date?

possibly, but there's definatly no ' political interest' by uefa as someone suggested, you'd have to be paranoid to come up with that one.

How bout the Israelis protest or write a plea to the uefa . They can't do that , that's discrimination.

I don't think that it would have been right for UEFA to postpone a game for a religious reason, whatever the religion is.

OK, so let's have ENgland or Italy or Spain or America play on Christmas or Easter or NEw year, because according to some people, religion should not have any impact. MAybe Israelis should quit being "angry" about the predicament, but maybe UEFA's ignorance about when a religious holiday falls on the calender can also scrutinized.
I just try to tell both sides....I myself, a Jew, would play on that holiday, but I, a Jew, knows that other JEws would not find that appropriate. Either way, no blame on anybody, but possibly some hidden agenda.
BY THE WAY....NEWSFLASH....IT'S ALWAYS JUST POLITICS.
