Olympiakos are in a group with Liverpool, Monaco and Deportivo, a group I think we can edge out of I believe. I just hope we can avoid giving up last minute goals against Deportivo like we have in the past.

on september 15th - Deportivo
september 28th - Liverpool
october 10th - Monaco

I believe we can beat deportivo, tie liverpool, and beat monaco.

I think in Athens we can beat anyone, Liverpool are the weakest team in the group and Deportivo the strongest. I'm really worried about our defence (AGAIN!!!) But hopefully, Schurrer will be the answer to our defensive problems. With Attacking players like Rivaldo, Okkas, Djordevic, Georgiadis, and Giovanni I know we can get goals, it's players like Venetidis and Anatolakis who worry me at the back! Nikopolidis is also a big question mark when expected to deal with crosses. If we still had Karembeau and bought another quality centre-back and possibly keeper, I think we could probably challenge for the Champions League. Give Bajevic a few years and we'll be there, he is the maestro! We'll have to wait and see!

He's good but mesa, mesa, kani kati malakies!!! Gia paradigma: When PAO played Man Utd at Old Trafford last season, or, the opening 15 mins against Czech Rep for Greece in the semi-final, where he dropped the looping ball onto the cross bar. Yet another example, is the opening game against Portgal when Ronaldo scored that header. He came out but didn't jump for the ball, he was caught in two minds! You can't afford that in the Champions League because, (a) Olympiakos' defence isn't as good as Greece's so he'll be more exposed, and (b) world class strikers will not give you a second chance. Look at our performance against Juve last season at the Kariaskaki. We were 1-0 up, then the keeper did 2 malakies and it was over! Nikopolidis must be top of his game this season!!!

Yeah, in Athens we're pretty strong, be what about away?

Olympiacos doesnt have a real good away record and even tho we tied deportivo on the road, its a big concern.

Think big, dont think Quarterfinals.

And the road to the final isnt all hometown love
