Hiya, I'm Adrian, I have just checked out ur site 4 the first time and I have 2 say that it is absolutely fantastic, 10 out of 10, brilliant! :-).
As a neutral fan, I'm a massive fan, particularly nostaligic and televised matches and of course derby matches and also international matches! lol.
I have a few queries 4 u:
1. Archie MacPherson, who is an absolute legend, when did he begin footy commentating 4 Scotsport?
2. Was Archie with Scotsport between 1982 and 1991?
3. U know down the years you have had the right to Premier Division football in Scotland. Particularly between 1982 and 1998, when BBC Scotland had an extended highlights on one match e.g. Hibs v Hearts - 2nd November 1991 which was covered by BBC Scotland at the time, would it be likely that Scotsport cameras and a Scotsport commentator being at the game?
3. Between 1985 and 1997 was there ever a Saturday tea-time round up and a Sunday afternoon highlights package?
4. I know down the years u have had the legendary Gerry McNee, Archie MacPherson and Peter Martin as senior commentators. Were they still around between 1982 going onwards?
5. Finally, do u remember Saint & Greavsie?
I do, I was such huge fans of them and I'm still one of their biggest fans!!
PS: I have so many matches that I have seen on Scotsport down the years, here r a selection:
Aberdeen v Celtic - 30th September 1989
Rangers v Celtic - 4th November 1989
Dundee United v Celtic - 10th August 1991
Hearts v Celtic - 16th November 1991
Rangers v Celtic - 21st March 1992.
