Exclusive: Cannavaro's ankle secretly examined in Israel

Fabio Cannavaro is not among the players listed on Roberto Mancini's list in preparation for Inters upcoming Basel clash. He was injured during the late Euro tournament, and latley he didnt attend training.

"He could barely drive" - Said yesterday An Inter source, and added that the medical staff is doing everything they can in order to make him fit. Inter fears this kind of injury is the same kind that caused the retirement of Marco Van-Basten at the age of 29.

According to Italian press, two days ago Cannavaro flew with the club's doctor to a hospital in Israel for consultation.

Oh God. I never realised that this injury was so serious. This is really bad news. Cannavaro was great at Euro2004 and is considered to be a world class defender. I was hoping that this season he would finally prove his worth to Inter.

All I can say about the topic is that I doubt that Cannavaro will ever be the same player again. Our signing of Burdisso was timed perfectly :)

Ohh This is my first time on here, I am in Toronto Canada and I am a die-hard INTER FAN,

WOW INTER HAS THE LARGEST NUMBER BETWEEN ALL OTHER THREads.hmm wonderful.

WHy no one is talking about Cannavaro injury on Inter.it or anything, I Dont understand he was flying to play with them in Japan and suddenly there is his son accident and then what.. nothing, no one knows anything, and now they are talking about a serious injury, I heard Van Basten name twice in teh last period first it was Milan's Inzagi and now Cannavro .. strange.

I think we need him badly as long as Burdisso is away too, but if he needs longer time and Burdisso was there beisde Cordoba then I think we will be okaty for sometime.
