He won the CL and took Real from the bottom of Spanish league just under the top.

What they should do is STOP spending enourmous amounts of money being their account shows a figure of 300 MIO USD with a - infront...


Del Bosque may look UGLY and DUMB, but he is a damn good coach.

You're wrong there.

Del Bosque never wanted Redondo to be sold (I'm a Real fan and I HATE it that they sold Redondo, who is a czar), quite the contrary, he said Redondo is the key player for Del Bosque's strategy! It's tru, man. But then, Milan offered even more $$$ and the management of Real didn't back up Del Bosque, cause they needed money (cause they spent a lot on Figo and have huge debts.)

Second, McMannaman was to be sold aswell for the same reasons. It is true that Del Bosque wasn't against it like with Redondo, but they didn't sell McMannaman (to my knowledge), instead, Del Bosque even included him in the squad for next year. Del Bosque was very fair, as he stated: "I talked with McManamann, I told him he won't play first 11 as much as he did last year and he'll have to struggle a lot, since we have quite a competition at his place. He told me, he wants to play for Real and he'll fight his place out in trainings." So, basically Del Bosque was fair to him... and now, he is in the squad of 25, cause he really trained hard.

About Baljic, he was warming the bench even last year, man. I don't know how good he is (didn't see him a lot), but I still think Real is too big for him. So, apparently he is good enough to bring them some money they needed and that's why they sold him.


That's the truth, man. And Del Bosque used to play for Real when he was young, so he has the love for the club. Also, results definitely speak for him.

And let me repeat, the stupid thing was spending so much on Figo (who is a tzar, but even he admits is not worth that money - Figo: "I wouldn't pay 56 million for anybody, it's stupid. It's just the law of the market.")

I think Figo is not worth 56 million YOU DON'T HAVE. If they had the money, Redondo would stay. So, basically they paid 40 MIO for Figo and let Redondo go. Which is STUPID! No way is Figo worth that money.

BUT REMEMBER, Del Bosque didn't bring Figo. The president of Real did, cause he won the election by promising he would. Did he tell he'll sell Redondo for that, he would never be elected!

Perez wanted him (Figo) and he is at Bernabeu. He is been prepared to bid him 100 mil. $, 'cose he wanted to do SOMETHING BIG. Figo admits that hes not worth that much (no one is)...

Only thing I realy dont get is: How loaning Baljic is good for Real ?
If they needed money why they didnt sell him ? Loaning him ? Like he is youngster and he needs some proving... I just dont get it.

Sorry, I didn't know Baljic wasn't sold.

Anyway, loan brings money, too. I guess they think he's worth more than his current market price is, but if they had him sitting on the bench for another year, his price would fall even more. This way, he can prove himself and then they'll either sell him or use him.

WOW if they really going to sell those players u said it really hurt cause they're great players.Casillas is a very potential player who is capable of getting a first team place.i just wonder why they bought Cesar when they already got Casillas,Illgner n' a lot more

Cesar is going to be first goalkeeper in Spain National Selection ! So, if Camacho is going to put him on goal, then he is worth something. Ilgner is too old and as you maybe see in last season Casillas is not played enough yet (i agree he is a great talent, but he lacks some more games)...
Savio is probably going to be sold...

Real look to recoup Figo fee

MADRID, Aug 29 (Reuters)(DS) - Real Madrid president Florentino
Perez is hoping to recoup the $56 million world record transfer
fee paid for Luis Figo by exploiting the player's image rights.
Perez, speaking in an interview with Eurosport, said he was
confident the money paid to Barcelona for the Portuguese
international would turn out to be a good piece of business.
"Nothing is cheap and nothing is expensive," Perez said when
asked about the apparently extravagant signing of Figo.
"It could turn out to be cheaper to sign a player for $56
million than half that amount.
"Figo is also the first player to cede his image rights to
the club, as the other new signings have also done.
"Selling those rights worldwide will be worth a lot of
money. I hope that Figo will turn out to be free by the end of
the six years of his contract."

They had results in last season(only CL)
But their game sucked for me---because of del Bosques tactics!

I partly agree on this one. But the game v. United and the final of the CL were nice. Too bad that was mostly Redondo's "fault".

The game against Gala was ugly as hell. The players have to get used to each other.

Well, the problem is: Baljic is good player, they bought him 2 years ago for a lot of money but he is not good enough for Real Madrid. They want to sell him but nobody is prepeard to pay him the same that Real Pays. If they Loan hem (problably to Tenerife) Tenerife will pay half of his salary and Real the other half.
