right now, i'd bet my house that i'm more efficient than di biagio let alone zanetti. di biagio can't make passes anymore, he's incredibly slow and can hardly steal balls either. what good is he?

zanetti on the other hand has tonns of upside and was one of the unsung heroes for roma before emerson returned. let's face it - zanetti can do it all. he can win balls, is a gifted tackler and is 10X more creative than gigi. aren't those good qualifications for a midfielder?

I'll say it again, that was three years ago, you're still living in the past. Since then Severus, like all of us bar you, has realised how limited and ineffective Zanetti has become since his one good season at Roma.

I really miss some of the old posters too; FANTA, Skualo, Massimo Moratti and too many others to mention. Some have joined us on WFB, some seem to have goten lost. :worried:

yes as a forum we were growing real well, the quality was there, fun was there, just everything was there. Maybe we reached the critical mass :confused: don't know... But I so much like the diversity of opinions and people we had. Also, you could have educated yourself in Off Soccer forum ;)

As for oscar ceremonies: that was bloody fun! we all worked so f@cking good ;) it's still there in archives. About a new one: I ran out of steam to put something creative now, also we do not have enough people to run the oscar show... For those few years I have seen too much discussion almost on everything and there's nothing new and interesting to bring in... I now understand Miha...

BUT what could be done is to estabilsh a fun environment here and do post in a funny/ friendly way :evil: also, we had angels and demons, poems in signatures and etc. it looks a bit boring now and certainly we shall bring the fun back somehow

We just need to put an end to all of the pointless arguments. That's what I'm concerned about. And as Mod of this board I have the most reason to worry. I fear that newbies won't come here if they are given a mouth-full of the cv32 crap. It's what you call bad publicity. Actually Giorgio, new users won't want to come here if they know they have to put up with scum like cv32. That my friend is a fact.

Certainly the majority of posters here are cool and knowledgable but a harder stance should be taken against repeating offenders. We have no problem with it at WFB because us supermods have the power to ban members. Once an agreement is reached over a member between the supermods, he/she can be banned immediately. It also ensures that spammers are banned promptly because a watchful supermod can ban them immediately.
And while the Inter board here at SFN is a lot more active than at WFB, overall i think the WFB forums are more active. We have a core group of 50-60 members who post continuously, something i think is lacking here. But this place is certainly on the up once again. :evil:

Yes, that's one of the things that irritates me as Mod. Fair enough only the most committed or active Mods should have the ability and discretion to ban. No disrespect to Omar but I think Mods should have more administrative functions like banning and deleting threads. That's an aspect I like on WFB, empowering Mods (or Super Mods) to have more responsibility and the power to flex their judgement. By quickly banning negative posters and spammers, it acts as a deterrant against future violations, instead letting the problem drag on and on thus inviting repeat offenders.

Stefan9 occasionally posts on here as Stefan99, I'm quite sure that it's the same guy, even though I wasn't arround back then.
