Porto did a pretty good job last season, but now the major stars went to others european clubs, it's a shame to see such great team being separated by money... :dontcare:

Just 2 great players left Porto ( Ricardo Carvalho and Deco ) and 3 arrived ( Quaresma, Postiga and Diego ) !!!! They should buy a strong central defender , so this way they would be probably better than last season. Porto will also miss José Mourinho, But Fernandez is an offensive style coach . Wait and see !!!!

FC Porto is going to win the Superliga no doubt... but I'm afraid that we won't go far in CL... We have excellent offensive players: Luis Fabiano-Derlei with Diego behind them would be amazing (the brasilian trident) but with Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira gone as well as Jose Mourinho... I think that the club took a huge hit... Its hard to find players that can replace those players in their respective roles... we are going to have weaknesses in central defense and right back for sure. In addition to that, I'm not sure if this new coach is going to be as effective as Mourinho... he'll have big shoes to fill.

I don't know who this new coach is, but surely he'll not do better job than Mourinho. Deco and Carvalho were two key players of the team, and it's a big loss for Porto.

Porto's moral is way up. We won Chelsea, we won the Intercontinental Cup (Benni exploded, finaly), and we are now leading the portuguese league.


But yes, Fernandez is not Mourinho, and if he wants to stay another season in Porto he'll have to do a lot more!
