so i bought tickets for the Man U game vs. AC Milan in new jersey and was really happy about going to see the game, but today i read on espn's soccernet.com website that ferguson has chosen not to take some of his better players along for the trip. as the article states:
-Ferguson has already decided the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Paul Scholes and the Neville brothers will not be on the trans-Atlantic flight on Wednesday following the rigours of Euro 2004.-
i am just wondering if this is really written in stone? is it really true? because i was really looking forward to seeing RvN and Ronaldo play, but now there is no chance of that. plus, you take away some of the other players and the game wont be interesting for a Man U fan. basically, give the game to AC milan.
at this rate, it doesnt seem like i will be going to the game. i dont want to see it without the best guys on pitch. AC will probably send out their top guys vs our "second-stringers" dont wanna even bother seeing that. gonna have to sell the tickets. this blows
