Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp has insisted the Premiership champions are capable of repeating the historic feat of going unbeaten in a league season.
Bergkamp said: "We realise we are there to be shot at and other teams are going to want to be the first to beat us. But on the other hand we feel strong enough to beat those teams again. That's our aim. We just want to win every game and at least go unbeaten."
Bergkamp added that in Europe, Arsenal needed a "little bit of luck". The Dutch striker said: "I feel we are improving in the Champions League and we are gaining in experience. If you look back on the two games we played against Chelsea last season, normally we would have done better against them.
"If we had we would have been in the semi-final, and then after that, who knows. But we have played well enough in the past, it's just that we need that little bit of luck."

Nice idea Dennis, but we were lucky enough to do it that once last season, it's something that won't happen again for a long time imo. Every team loses sometimes. :dontcare:
What do all of you think?

Just the one unbeaten season in the League was a record for the modern game, but truthfully I can't see it happening again anytime soon.

Yes, as far as I know it would be a record worldwide too, for the modern game. That's what I meant anyway. :)
