Andy Cole is suposedly demanding a 60,000 pound a week salary to sign a new contract with united. As much as i love andy, if this is true he can f*uck off. That would make him the highest paid player in england. Now i really want united to get van nistelrooy.
lol... this must be a joke.. no-one would consider that wage

i should point out that this was andy cole's agent talking, not cole himself.
Agents suck! All they ever do is LIE! The worst are Anelka's agents (cos their his brothers) and all they want is money!

if this is true then he can leave
we can get more quality from a striker with that kind of money, i mean cole is FANTASTIC but not worth that kind of money

i don't care how good you are, nobody is worth that much money.
I have to agree, no one player is worth that much. Footballers are becoming very greedy and I believe this may well be the downfall of the beautiful game.
Does anybody know what is happening with this transfer thing? I know the EU want to scrap transfer fees but have they made any decisions yet?

well i agree that players are getting greedy, but remember Cole has said nothig about a contract, this is his agent talking out of his ass. and i don't know about the transfer thing but if they do away with transfers that will ruin football for sure.
