Free kick moved in the last game

I was watching the ManU/Sunderland game, and I saw the ref do something I have never seen before. What was the call/penalty that brought the free kick in closer?

If the players in the wall do not listen to the official and do not get or stay 10 yards away than the official can move the ball forward. i think he can move as much as 10 yards.

OK, thanks. I had never seen that before. I've seen yellow and red cards for it, but not that.

Yeah its new to this season, they got the idea from Rugby (league I think).
