United have put an offer on the table for Sol Campbell. Spurs have till next week to take it or leave it. (the champions league deadline is some time next week). I wouldn't be surprised if Henning Berg is offered along with the money to get Sol to old Trafford in time.

Spurs have denied that they have accepted the bid, which they haven't. but then again they havn't rejected it either.

I hope United buy him . It would be a total waste of money . He was cr*p for England in Euro 2000 , he just didn't have a clue at that level . As for his club form.... well.....at best he looks average , in a poor Tottenham defence !!!

Are you insane, are we talking about the same sol campbell. He and Martin Keown were the only bright spots for england in euro 2000.not to mention he was fantastic in the 98 world cup. Maybe he doesn't look that great for tottenham but look who he is playing with. Sol campbell is going to be one of the best defenders in europe, if he isn't already.
