Nisterlooy apparently isn't coming because of his injury, Batistuta is staying in Italy I think. If veron goes anywhere, that will be Inter I think. Man U want Campbell, and I don't know about Toldo. I think Bosnich might go, so maybe we will get Toldo. He's a great keepr.

Barthez makes up with coach and will stay with Monaco

PARIS, May 4 (Reuters) - Goalkeeper Fabien Barthez captained Monaco to a 5-2 home victory over Le Havre on Thursday that signalled an end to his spat with coach Claude Puel.

Barthez said on Wednesday he wanted to leave Monaco after he claimed coach Claude Puel had accused him of being ``paid off'' by Olympique Marseille in a vital league match, lost 4-2 by Monaco.

Barthez, France's national keeper, had said he would not captain the newly-crowned champions again. But a tete-a-tete before Thursday's match apparently cleared the air.

``Everything is back to normal,'' said the bald Barthez, the only Monaco player who did not have his head streaked red and white for the match.

``We had it all out in private. I'm staying at Monaco, the affair is over as I wanted,'' the France goalkeeper said.

Monaco's victory meant they ended the season unbeaten at home -- their last match is away to St-Etienne on May 13 -- and consigned their opponents to relegation after 10 years in the top flight.

Asked about Barthez retaining the captain's armband, Puel said he had full confidence in the goalkeeper.

``That (armband) explains it all. There's been too much talk about this affair, now let's turn to the game and positive things. To remain one of the unbeaten teams at home in the championship was one of our objectives,'' Puel said.

Another objective is David Trezeguet finishing as top marksman and his two goals put him back level with his former Monaco team mate Sonny Anderson, now with Olympique Lyon, on 22.

``Two more - and a duel with Sonny on the final day is what I was hoping for and what everyone wanted,'' the striker said.
