ManUtd plays fastest and most modern football that has probably reached top in all segments of the game in history.
Good keeper, strong defence, very strong midfield players with the sharpest wings (Beckham & Giggs are probably best in business), forwards very skillful.
Long percise balls, rotating forwards, shooting from all distances. Well, don't agree?

i do agree, and not just because i am a united supporter but because it is true. i guess it would depend on how you like your football played but i like the fast pace that united play at, and i think that they do it better than anyone else.

Absolutely - pace with long percise balls.
I love their game. It is real football but I don't realy think it depends on wether you like it that way - they have results and they will have them again and again. I just hope they avoid Bayern in quarters as the germans play very fast and rough and can easily destroy the pace of Manchester. Barcelona is the hard one as well. They play very similar to ManUtd. Others are not a piece of cake as well but I think ManUtd will have slightly easier job with any other side besides those two.

well they can't play bayern or barca untill the semifinals. but to be honest i don't care who they play. with the form they are showing now they can beat anyone.

That has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

It should sound more like this:

ManUtd's fans are without a shadow of doubt, the biggest self-promoters in the history of the game.

How does a team that is in such good form and playing the best football in the history of the game, get eliminated in the quarter finals of the CL?

Real simple answer: any team has the potential to have a bad game. If that happens at the wrong time, season over. If you think ManU is so terrible, look at last season and say that again.

I never said they were terrible, but they're not even close to being the best team in the history of the game. Yorke and Cole would be nobody's in Serie A, just like David Platt and Paul Ince were. You may be king of the hill on a small hill, but stop exaggerating and come back to reality.

As far as ManU goes, people either love them or hate them, there really doesn't seem to be an in between there. Why do you think they hate them soooo much? It's not because they're English, otherwise they'd hate Arse and Chelsea and all the rest, it's not even because they're lucky, after all, a lot of teams are lucky.

It's simply because a lot of their fans are arrogant and make ridiculous posts like this one made by BBB.

Milan of the late 80's early 90's were much better than this ManU team, any non-ManU fan will say that I'm sure.

What did I say that was an exaggeration?

I didn't mean you specifically, I mean BBB. ManU is a good team, no doubt, but being the best in the history of the game is an exageration. BBB said ManU has reached the top in all segments of the game. Do you agree with that?

If we are meaning best ever team, then no, probably not. They need to continue to go at the pace they are on for several more years for that claim.

As far as reacing the top in all segments, that all depends on what exactly is meant by all segments. Winning the treble could be considered to meet that statement, but by not winning again this year in UCL, maybe not. I guess it is all in your perspective. Are they the best team this year....mmmmmm...probably not, though it pains me to say that. One of the best, definitely. I do agree with some of the statements describing the players that BBB made. Particulary when Giggs is healthy, he is one of the most dangerous players on the wing.

No we're not the best right now, but we will be soon.

I have to say it again: PROBABLY BEST for the number of reasons.
Please note that MU had a brilliant season last year, this year they played even more superior in the prmier league-no one coming even close to take the title but then again they lost 5-0 against Chelea. A bad game. It does happen in soccer you know. It happened against Real. Two goals just happened.
But come on, MU plays continously very well scoring more goals than any other team and I have to stress that it's going on for years now. You my friend have to know that football is an unpredictable game. ANY team can get kicked out in the knockout system, ANY. I watched a game recently when a team that had 27 shots on goal lost 1-0 to a team that had only 1, get it? It's football.

BBB: and is that not the great thing about soccer? Anyone can win at any second. Ahhhhhh....I love this game!

I agree with you - that's why we all love this game.
