It was a knee injury and those kind of injuries heal very slowly he would be out of soccer for about a year. I don't remember what game it was but it was a friendly match. The other team was winning 1-0 vs. Mexico. Then in minute 75 Cua was subed in and then in about 5 min he scored a goal. Before the match was over he scored again giving Mexico the win. Even though he does complain and fake some fouls who does that help, the team! Did you see the goal he scored in the WC 98 it is one of the best goals of that time period!

I don't know about others, I'm talking for me, and I hate him not for being mexican, I said before that I admire other players from there like 'el cabrito' and Oswaldo, Torrado is good too.

I say he talks a lot of crap because he thinks he's the better player in Mexico -which isn't- and because during games he fakes a lot of fouls and no player can touch him because he flies in the air faking and even starts a fight, but he can make hard tackles and he don't want anyone to say anything to him, that's why I say he plays like a girl, and it DOES make a lot of sence.

Personally i think Cua is a good player, not the best player in the world but he is certainly above average. if it wasnt for him i probably wouldnt have gotten into soccer. i still remeber it now, back in 98' WC, the moves he busted and the way he played caught my attention. the way i see it he's the NFL's version of TO (if you dont know who that is, ask me). He may be arragont and self centered at times, but you cannot deny his playmaking abilities and skills.
