Kompany is another over-rated talent that's been far too hyped up in Belgium. Not since Gerets and the others of the 80's early 90's have Belgium had any decent defenders. Let him prove himself in de Champions League first with Anderlecht. Before that, he's anything but a talent.

I would love to see Kompany at Inter only if we are willing to understand this guy has incredible talent, and that the mistakes he will make at 19 will payoff for Inter when he is 21.

Part of our club problems is that the media and fans want in the next coach, and next player some kind of saviour, and it is time for us to understand that we can´t hope for instant success specially with Moratti running things.

Now at Milan Zac´s defense was terrible, so was at Udine and with us, he is not the ideal coach to develop a young player, however unless Zaccheroni is able to pull some lucky results, I dont think he will last long with us.

I agree. We should definitely treat him as a youngster. However, this kid is PLAYING IN EUROS2004! If he can play there, then he can play anywhere! I say we treat him as a less experienced VDM (in the beg of the season) in which we play him periodically and constantly give him experience to build on. If he is up to the challenge, play him regularly. If not, then keep playing him, but try to build up his confidence/experience. Let us play the waiting game, he is a good prospect.

If experience and his youth is an issue... Inter should buy him and then immediately loan him out to another Serie A club and if he kicks ass, they can always call him back right? Just no 50-50 nonesense like they did with Adriano :)
