Concerned about positions

Why oh why have we signed Panucci when we already have so many players to fill that position?!? We have so many wingbacks now we could almost play a first eleven wingback team... Le Saux, Melchiot, Babayaro, Harley, Panucci, Percassi, Ferrer, Lambourde (you only need 2 in the starting eleven Luca

Panucci is one of the best right-backs in the WORLD...

Le Saux - he is more of a left back
Baba - left back
Harley - Left
Percassi and Ferrer are the only right backs we got..

And Lambourde a central defender too ?
