im a mad newcastle fan and and who do we all think booby should buy ?
well i think stephen carr to help the defense and i think we should sign leeds goalkeeper paul robinson becos we could get him on the cheap as leeds struggle for money as we got a crackin player in jonny woodgate for a next to nothin price for the best central defender in the whole of england. i also think we should sign alan smith or henrik larson now and get patrik kluivert in the summer tranfer window.

I definetly agree on Steven Carr but as for Paul Robinson, even though I do rate him very highly, I'm quite happy with Shay Given as he's also a great keeper and has been great for us for the past 7 or 8 seasons! I know we have been linked with Alan Smith and I just think we could get a striker of higher quality than him, like I'm thinking more of Patrick Kluivert type like you suggested! I would prefer him! Plus there is enough sulking and flare ups going on around the club with Bellamy and Robert without Smith coming to join in!

well i dont agree with anything you people have sed so far. when the mags played spurs robert had carr all over and i havent seen him get passed some defenders that easily very often. i rate robinson very highly and think hes an outstanding player i am happy with shay but there is no point in wasting him on the bench when hes clearly a first team keeper. As for larsson and kluivert, they shoudl be collecting their pensions by now. Some strikers i think will fit into the aquad perfectly would be forrsell (chelsea) and Kezman (psv). They are both young enough for bobbys youthful squad. kezman netted 35 goals for psv last season and as for forssell he has netted 16 so far this season and hes only at birmingham. imagine robert and ambrose feeding balls to these fabulous players it would be like having to shearers. not that im comparing them to the great big AL. But i do think shearer and larrson wud be perfect to work in the managerial side of the squad.
P.S. good punch on tht PSV player bramble lol. Lukin forward to the second leg. COME ON THE TOON!!!!

Well. I think Paul Robinson will not be agree to be 2nd keeper after Given, so it's not good idea to buy him (IMHO). Rafael Van der Vaart is highly rated by me - great player! He is able to play as left winger, atacking midfielder and striker. Also I like Smertin (Chelsea, Portsmouth) - may be because of I'm russian. they said some monthes ago that magpies were interested in him, but now with Jenas and Dyer in center i think he has not many chanses to start in first eleven.
P.S. I'm sure u don't know such a player as Maris Verpakovskis (Latvia) - he is also good striker, see him at Euro.
So, as a conclusion I wanna see Van der Vaart, Smertin and Verpakovskis in black and white.

Newcastle is also trying to get Woodgate, which is still a good move despite his injuries.
