Here's some post-match reaction from Arsene wenger in Bremen when Henry was sent off controversially. One gets the distinct impression that we haven't heard the last of this:
"I am very angry about this. The sending off was a decision I didn't agree with - but in any case Thierry shouldn't have been there on the pitch at the time. I wanted to replace him with Overmars but the officials wouldn't let me make a double substitution."
"They let Emmanuel Petit go on in place of Tony Adams but said I had to wait to make the second substitution. I was told I had to make them one at a time."
"Now we lose Henry for the semi-finals and of course he is very upset about it. I'm also very upset about the behaviour of some of the Werder Bremen players who were diving all the time. We are not used to that in England."
"It spoiled a great performance by us and I wanted to make an official protest. As it stands I'm not sure whether Henry will be suspended for one leg of the semi-finals or both."
"I don't want to judge referees but I believe this decision was the wrong one. We had much worse fouls against us when Silvinho and Frederik Ljungberg were both pulled down when they were going through and there was only a booking for one of those fouls."
