Ever since Berti Vogts us taken over we have seen scotland IMPROVE!! Alot of Scots think that berti vogts is not the man for the job. But alll you have to look at is our last 5 results or so and that tellls you how much we are improving, ok we got hammered 6-0 by Holland in Amsterdam but really were we actually thinking we could beat hollland in Amsterdam? Nope is my answer. I bet you there aint much teams in the world that could beat Holland in Holland, even the likes of brazil Portugal France would struggle against them. We did really well against them at hampden with 50 000 fans behind us but when you travel to Holland with only about 10 000 fans behind you in the stadium then it is a different ball game. So really did you really think we could do something against them in Holland???? Anyway lets look at our result against germany 1-1 at hampden then we lost a respecteble 2-1 in Germany. Then we beat Faroe Islands 3-1 then we beat lithuania 1-0 but if you look back at our euro 2004 campaign it has been very promising indeed. we beat Iceland twice we draw with Germany we beat Lithuania once we beat Faroe Islands and we draw with Faroe Islands so in the end it has been a good campaign and with James Mcfadden and Darren Fletcher on the rise plus the likes of pearson and other very promising youngsters the future looks bright for Scotland and Berti Vogts has had a reasonable year with scotland and he has showed us scots that we MIGHT once rise to Englands ability and maybe we can show the english football team how to play but until that wonderful day lets just look to gettign to World Cup 2006!!!
