I think he should. We won't win the title this year. We might not get a Champions League place. He should go. :fed-up: :annoyed:

Whether we make CL or not Houllier has to go. And no Magician, if he goes it won't be upstairs.

people complained that we were boring even though we won some stuff so le boss answered that by trying to play an attacking way. fair enough the buys in 2002 were pants (diouf, diou, and cheyrou) so we were pretty much trying to play(i will stress TRYING) attacking football but with a team built for the counter attack. this season we are still quite poor but what can you expect when we want flair and only kewell is added to the team. So i say be patiant(if you have any patiance left) and wait for the new players in the summer.

I for one hope Hool-a-Hoop stays on. It is great to see how he has taken this once great club so far backwards. But I can't believe he has received death threats - what sort of real football fans would do that???

Stick to the topic weirdo, this isn't about porn. It has nothing to do with Owen either.

He has to go. The team have been finding a bit of form recently but they'll slump again pretty soon. Bring in Martin O'Neill or Big Sam (Allardyce), I think individually they both have what it takes to do a great job and lead the once kings of europe to the throne again (or thereabouts).

I have serious doubts about Houllier's attitude to the mediocre season we have just experienced. He seems to believe that finishing fourth is some sort of major achievement and he's basically telling everybody to get off his back.

Before the match this weekend he was quoted as saying 'We have nothing to prove' because we had qualified for the qualifiers of the Champs League.

Well, I would say that winning four games on the bounce was something to prove, seeing as we hadnt managed it all season.
Unfortunately, we got an average performance from a team that wasnt prepared to commit itself and the midfield hung around just ahead of the back four. Newcastle were sh#ting themselves holding on to that draw and with a little more positive attitude I think we could have finished them off.

They had nothing to prove though. The manager told them that, and the team certainly played like it. Houllier cant motivate, and he has an attitude that says....we finished fourth so leave me alone.

Its not good enough. Saying, with one game to go of a dismal season, that 'we have nothing to prove' certainly isnt good enough; but what concerns me, is that the manager seems to think that it is.
