I was wondering if any of the guys that play soccer in Germany would be interested on coming to United States to play soccer in High School and possibly college. Let me know what your take on that is.

I have some students in New Zealand who may be interested in soccer in USA. Is that an option. They would be 19 years old and competent players.

This really does not pretain to the topic, but I have question for you all. My son is a American that has playing club soccer in here in the US. He is currently on a BU 14 team. We are moving to Germany in the spring for his fathers work. He is currious to know what soccer will be available for him. He is very excited about getting the oppourtunity to play European soccer. Currently he is being coached by a coach that played professionally on the Morocco team. He also has two coaches in the club that played professionally in England, just can not remember their clubs. One is a international referree. So he is getting some exposure, nothing like what he will get in Germany though. Any sugestions for him? Do you think going to Germany is a good idea for him, or should he stay in the US to play soccer? Coaches are saying go for it exposure in Germany will be great. But I would like your opinions please. Thanks.

I think the best thing for young players is to try to get as much expirience as possible, European schools and coaches can offer things that coaches in the US can't, therefore going to Germany would probably be a good idea for your son

I can tell you that much: Youth soccer is a very big deal in Germany but there are many people that do not take it serious and therefor you have to find a good club. And german soccer is very rough.

Hello Scott, I don't think anybody here will help you on how to get a scholarship. You have to show yourself if you want it.
