Really. What is football in Iran like? A national league? Provincial teams?

in iran is somewhat simalar than America when it comes to soccer. America and Iran both have little leagues, such as states and city and provincial teams, like the L.A. Galaxy and the (Tehran i believe?) Isteghlal . They also have a national team in which has won many asain cup trophys and other tournament, events, cups, etc. but in Iran, a vast portion of its people such as in the main city of Tehran, dont have grass to play on. We play on the streets all the time. In neighboorhoods we set up tiny welded nets which are even smaller then a lacrosse net and we just play. and instead of having big ol expensive balls (we sometimes do!) we go out and buy cheap plastic ones, so if they get ruined (which they will) then its no big deal. You can get pretty hurt on the street, but its mainly safe and a nice way to have fun.
