From Lazio World...

Marco Simone:

Marco Simone could soon wear the lazio jersey.
He revelas it himself in an interview with french sports paper L’Equipe.
“I received a call from Lazio’s management and since I found the offer very interesting I decided to accept it. I am ready and I hope that Monaco will finalize the transfer”.
The transfer should be that of a free loan.

Can anyone tell me more about this player?

Di Vaio for Corradi:

Eventhough he renewed his contract with Lazio, Bernardo Corradi is still wanted by Juventus. Marcello Lippi sees him as an alternative to David Trezeguet. Moggi is ready to offer striker Marco Di Vaio who Mancini is said to admire. The transfer would be a straight swap. Everything needs to be finalized quickly though since Juventus won’t be able to use him in the Chamions League if he plays with Lazio against Benfica on the 13th. A meeting between the two clubs is therefore scheduled for later this week.

I personally prefer Corradi, it would be a mistake giving him away.

Your opinions?

Well Di Vaio during Pre- Season has probably been one of Juve's best he scored alot of goals, Corradi is great as well. I really couldn't pick one they both are great players.

Di Vaio? We don't need him, we should just keep the players we had last season and not change the structure of the team. Corradi is the replacement for Vieri in the NT, so why should we give such a great prospect to sign Di Vaio? Di Vaio's wages will be higher than Corradi, no doubt so let's stick to the players we have.

I totally agree with Darran here. And I don't really know much about that Simone guy, well nothing actually.

We need young blood, Lopez isn't getting any younger, we need a 20-23 yr old striker who can score lots of goals and give Claudio, Corradi and Inzaghi a fight for their places.

Yeah, if we could just find someone who fits in our budget. No need for expensive as hell players.

Darran

Well, I guess we could try some exchanges, we don't need many players such as Manfredini...etc, we could offer them and pay a small amount and then we could get them. E'too has been mentioned, he would be great for Lazio.

Yeah Eto'o is not bad but Mallorca asks for at least 16m for him, which has already made Chelsea to quit. Our target is a No.4 striker so such spends is obviously impossible... :(

But with the exchange of Mendieta and Manfredini plus a small amount would be reasonable I am sure. Mallorca would like Mendieta and Manfredini, as they have played in La Liga before.

Yeah, Reports quote that mendieta will go on another year loan, Manfredini i guess on full ownership and Castroman on loan then we will recieve e'to.

That's a great deal, hopefully its true. But as usual, I will not be rejoicing till I see it happen

Well i think we will buy Kamara now, Bring some French flair to Rome :)

Parma and Lazio are both after him, He is only 21 years old so nice and young and actually could be a good prospect.

Darran

Yes but we cannot assume he is a Lazio player, hopefully things go smoothly and he will join Lazio.

Darran

Well we have many other options, there are plenty of great talented young strikers, one of them is Cavenaghi from River but it will take a hefty sum to prise him away from River I am sure of that.

I think Kamara would be overjoyed to come to Lazio and i really hope he does he has shown during pre-season that he is talented and can score he would be the perfect back up player!
