From Lazio World...

Uncertainties about the transfer market and the exceptions made to the Baraldi plan create a bitter mood among the biancocelesti. Discontent in Lazio ranges from Peruzzi to Stam.
The first one is demanding equal treatment for all. The other cases are Favalli, Fiore, Lopez, Stankovic and Mendieta.
Where is the spirit of the group that last year reached achievements that were unthinkable at the beginning of the season?
The Lazio that emerges now is a mix of those loyal to Roberto Mancini, displeased ones and indifferent ones.
In a way, signing the Baraldi plan has displeased all, those who accepted it and those who refused.
The former because they don’t welcome any exceptions. The other because they have been a little neglected from the management and from the general atmosphere as a consequence of their refusal to sign.

PERUZZI - He’s considered one of the «protesters». He accepted to sign the Baraldi plan and would want that those who have refused sign as well. Some problems with Mancini, because of his straightforwardness. Often, he is not afraid to speak out, as happened at Vigo di Fassa, even when many of his companions chose to remain silent. There are those who want to neglect him, and are ready to field Sereni as starter. But he has no intention of moving from Rome.

FAVALLI - he doesn’t want to stay. Mancini and the board are aware of it. After 11 years, it he wants new experiences. Maybe abroad, but Inter should not be excluded. The club has no intention to let him go. But is there any point to keep him against his will?

LOPEZ - About to accept the wage restructuring and the extension of his contract. –No problems with Mancini but many with Baraldi. They have thrown accusations against each other in the media. The matter needs to be cleared

FIORE - Seems out of place at the moment. Unhappy with his position on the field. He was one of the first to launch a clear message: no exception to the plan. Wanted by Juve and Inter.

STANKOVIC - His bad mood does not derive from a will to leave Lazio or from a disappointment with Mancini. Indeed, the exact opposite, it is the incertitude about the contract that makes him nervous. Why doesn’t he deal with the matter?

STAM - He has never said that he will remain but that he will have to wait until August 13th, the preliminary of Champions League, in order to know his future,

The OTHERS - Mendieta, Colonnese, Dino Baggio, Gottardi and Manfredini want clarity on their future, they feel they are a “burden”

By memory Stam did say he didn't want to leave Lazio!

Peruzzi is now rumored to leave to Roma in exchanged with the car crash victim Lima, Not a good move. He want's to leave due this problem with Roberto

I have no idea what is happening with Fiore, We need him in our squad but i don't see a future for either Mendieta Manfredini or Fiore if someone like Pizarro arrives.

Well simple our team is looking good, We have had a reasonable pre-season and we should be ready by August 13th, As soon as that date arrives alot of Lazio players will really be unable to leave as they are then played in a Uefa Champions League quailfier and are not eligble to play in Uefa held games for the duration of the 03/04 season.

Favalli should leave if he really want's to do as his desire but he is one of the best left backs in italy and no real player could fill his spot so he will have a rather un-happy season if he doesn't leave. Lopez and Deki should sign hopefully in the next week or so otherwise problems may occur, Baraldi has already said that he is lining up buyers for stankovic if he doesn't sign before the Benfica game mainly due to his 'Value' decreases as he will be in-eligble to play Uefa run games as he has been registered with Lazio. I really hope nothing happens, Our team if fine as it is and we really only need to sign a striker like Muzzi as a back up for Inzaghino Lopez and Corradi.

I just hope all these matters will be cleared up before the Benfica game next week. We really need to win that one.

So sorry to read this news. :depressed Remember last season? How difficult it was! But everyone in the club just united as a team and we did so well! Money, stars... they're not the problem. There's a saying-- Attitude is everything. If we lost this I just can't imagine how we could be this season. Don't forget the first opponent we will meet is Benfica.. Players MUST get together as soon as possible, otherwise if we suffered a failure at the beginning of the season, who knows what the future would be like? :worried: I think it's the time Baraldi and the club managers should do something to solve these problem. FORZA LAZIO!

Yes indeed, it is shocking that we have a problem in the dressing room now, we need to get back to our state last season and forget about all these things. This conflict has to be solved once and for all, about the inequality and stuff like that, all these need to be solved, we need to get everything cleared by next week. All the problems, the transfers, the uncertainty, it needs to be done and over by next week.
