A prominent San Marino family is prepared to take over the entire quota of Lazio shares. The huge revelation hit the news agencies late yesterday evening. Ready to support this claim is businessman Ferdinando Anselmi who, together with lawyer Maurizio Riccardi, looks after the interests of the San Marino entrepreneurs. "Unfortunately I am not authorized to reveal the name, as they don't care for the publicity. The people that I represent are serious", emphasizes Anselmi. It is "a negotiation that has been ongoing for three months in a silent way. For some time we have already introduced guarantees to cover 110 million euro", reveals Anselmi "because we are looking to take over the club in its entirety". An important meeting is scheduled tomorrow to deliver further guarantees. "The person who wants to make his way into Lazio", concludes the businessman, "is not a football fan, even if he [she] is beginning to understand the world of the football".

This is great news, they are prepared to take over Lazio. But nothing is confirmed yet, so I would not want to rejoice too early. But if this is true, it would be very good for us, we can invest in the player we want but I hope this is not another Roman Abramovich saga in which we are going to buy all the best players. We have created a very strong team and I just want adequate replacements in defence and in attack. The rest has no call for concern.

Hopefully this guy is as rich as Roman Abramovich and well let Mancini pick the players he wants! But i think it is only a rumour until we hear more other news sources. Also Roman Abramovich was willing to bid an amazing 72 Million GBP for Raul of Real Madrid.

I don't want to have another Roman Abramovich, no doubt we will have lots of money but don't forget we have a great squad of players, I don't want them to feel arrogant just because they have an owner who is rich. First of all, we need to clear all our debts and from there, we can decide what to do.

This sounds interesting, but we've heard it all before.

You never know Paula, one of it may come true and if it does, I would be so glad, I am sure the rest of you will feel the same way.

Of course I'd be glad, really glad, but I just don't wanna get my hopes up. No need to party before it's a done deal. We've been waiting for a new owner so long.

Exactly Paula has indeed a very good point, When i saw rumours for players that could be coming to Lazio when i was a Teenager that knew everything (oops i still am) i would think wow Rivaldo is coming to Lazio or someone on those lines i would keep my hopes up and then well you no what happens.

I am sure someone will buy us if we really succed in the Champion's League, So Lazio will really have to show our colors when it comes that time.

I personally feel that if a team like Chelsea can attract such a rich buyer like Abramovich, why can't Lazio? We have only lost 3 times last season and could easily win the Scudetto had we be more consistent at home.

But now Cragnotti does not own any % of Lazio as we have already seperated from Cragnotti. I hope we find a new buyer soon.

To me soccer is all about $$$ rather than result , Which club doesnt want to have a rich boss ? I really want someone who is as rich as Roman Abramovich to buy us up . by tat time who care about the milan`s team ? Italian football will only focus in one city ! And tat got to be Rome but only in the colour of sky blue . :smoking:

How can you say money means so much to you Melvin? For me it's not really the cash nor the results it's just Lazio, with or without money.

I think u have got me wrong , I can tell u tat without money we cant hold on any longer . tat means no money no lazio , no doubt we are performing well but if we dont pump in cash fast we will vanish soon and dont forget tat even we take a loan from the bank we still had to pay high interest , will the bank be so kind to forget the rate ? its jus like digging a hole to cover another , in no time we will find ourselves in deep shit . Im not provoking anyone but tis is fact and no one can change it . gd luk to our team for tis coming fixture .....ciao:)

Yes, what is the use of having an owner who made some mistakes like Cragnotti, I want a smart yet practical owner.
