Lazio continues its preparation by beating Viterbese(C1) 2-0 tonight at Viterbo.
Goals scored by Fiore (28') in the first half and Inzaghi in the 2nd (45').
First half:
Peruzzi; Oddo, Mihajlovic, Stam, Favalli; Fiore, Liverani, Albertini, Cesar; Corradi, Lopez.
Second half:
Sereni; Negro, Zauri, Couto, Gottardi; Mendieta, Giannichedda, Dabo, Manfredini; Inzaghi, Rivaldo.
(Castroman in for Gottardi at 29')
At last a win, I am so relieved, I hope we continue to produce results such as this. Inzaghi has been scoring many goals in the friendly and in fact has scored the most number of goals amongst our strikers. I am really starting to believe that Inzaghi will refind his excellent scudetto winning season form this season and hopefully bring the Scudetto to Rome.

This is what I understand from the italian match report from Gazzetta dello Sport:
1.Cesar made the assist for Fiore to score the first goal.
2.Mendieta made the assist to Inzaghi for the second goal. (Good for Mendieta, I still believe in him)
3.Albertini played well.
4.The whole team played better in the first half than in the second half, when the "second choice formation"came in.
That's all I understood, for the italians and the italian speaking:

That's great, Mendieta is contributing to the team, keep going Gaizka, we still believe in you and I am sure at the end of the season, you will be reborn under Mancini.

This is good result but I have to say I've never even heard of that team. But I'm happy that Mendi's doing well because he just can't be such a huge disappointment again.

He is from Paraguay, I saw him in the CM 4 game, he has reasonably skill and can develop into a great player. He is only 16 this year and he is already called up, that shows how talented he is. We must develop him in the right way and prove to the world, we can have our own '' Rooney ''.
Oh, ok. But I doubt he'll be big Internationly, like Rooney will be in a year or two, Paragauy are not that good/big enough threat. Or he could become an Italian citizen.

Well look at Santa Cruz, he is such a great talented player and young too. Rivaldo is only 16 this season, he will be given time to mature and he has been impressing in the games he is playing. By 19, he would be a great player.

We just have to make sure that we don't let him slip away. We need young talents, and this player could very well be one of those. I'd really like to see him play.

Imagine him by his mid twenty's he will probably better than the 1999 world player of the year 'Rivaldo'
Hopefully he can learn alot this season. Also it looks like Muzzi will arrive to strenghten our Striker team. As there is a new proposed deal from Lazio including Castroman (on-loan) plus 8 Million Euro for Muzzi, Pizzaro and the Loan of Alberto. This is supposed to be organised by next week. Lazio have not requested Jorgensen again as we now have way too many midfielders.
Fiore would be destined to leave if that deal occurs between Udine and Lazio which would see him move to Juventus most likely and most likely an exchange of players to Lazio. I really hope that Fiore stays. But the udinese deal seems very good for Lazio.
Also Lazio are now considering selling Dejan Stankovic if he doesn't sign a few days before Lazio's game against Benfica. As his 'Value' will decrease as he would have been registered to play champions league.

Don't worry guys, I am confident Deki will sign a new contract, his heart is in Lazio, there would not be many obstacles. About Fiore leaving to Juventus, I hope that is not the case, we should get Pizarro and keep Fiore, then our midfield would be extremely strong.
