It'll be interesting to meet Sampdoria... But we have to wait until November for the big(or maybe not so big) derby.

Sampdoria is a great team, they have got the likes of Klinsmann in the past, I have full respect for them and I am sure they will impress in the Serie A this season, they belong here and not in the Serie B

bring em all on

forza lazio!

ahmed

I think going to Milan for Milan - Lazio with the Francia Biancoceleste

MarieL
08-05-2003, 07:07 AM
Oh, lucky you! Then you have to tell us all about it, again. Have you ever been to San Siro?

ahmed
08-08-2003, 12:53 AM
no... i just saw it from the car...
didnt enter it before

Darran
08-08-2003, 03:29 AM
The San Siro is very beautiful but the Olimpico is much more beautiful.

MarieL
08-08-2003, 06:34 AM
But San Siro is a real football stadium, it doesn't have the stupid running track.

Darran
08-09-2003, 02:49 AM
Well what's wrong with having a running track, the Olimpico was used for the World Cup as well as the Olympics, it is great in my opinion.

valdanito_10
08-09-2003, 07:40 AM
what is wrong with a running track? its not like its being used, i find it better actually! its not reallygood tohave the fans so close.

olimpico has nothing to envy from san siro

MarieL
08-09-2003, 07:51 AM
Well of course if you wanna see 22 little ants on the pitch then Olimpico is just fine.

valdanito_10
08-09-2003, 08:00 AM
now paula dont annoy me! :stop:

u dont see 22 ans on a pitch, and its not that far away anyways

Darran
08-11-2003, 11:04 AM
Well the Olimpico is like a dome, its rounded which is very beautiful. We don't want to have a stadium like Old Trafford which is so square. It doesn't look nice and don't forget the Curva Nord. It makes Olimpico special.

ahmed
08-12-2003, 01:01 PM
english stadiums are the best... the fans dont see even the players numbers at the curvas... that sux.... you dont feel it..
i agree with paula

Darran
08-12-2003, 01:14 PM
Well it is very dangerous in England, if there were such stadiums in Italy, many players can die easily, we sure do not want that to happen do we?

valdanito_10
08-12-2003, 04:41 PM
eah, that why cantona did what he did! in italy it is impossible to have seets that close to the players! maybe not death but serious inconvenients quite oftehn!

MarieL
08-12-2003, 08:18 PM
Well the fans don't have to be as close to the players as in Highbury or something, but the running track is a pain.

Darran
08-18-2003, 09:00 AM
Well the fans don't have to be as close to the players as in Highbury or something, but the running track is a pain.
The running track looks unique in a stadium used for football, the Olimpico is a beautiful stadium which has hosted the World Cup and the Olympics.

ahmed
08-18-2003, 10:56 AM
Well the fans don't have to be as close to the players as in Highbury or something, but the running track is a pain.
i agree with you about the running track..

MarieL
08-19-2003, 05:47 AM
Yeah, well the Olympic stadium of Helsinki has a running track as well. Doesn't make it that unique.

valdanito_10
08-21-2003, 09:33 PM
why dont u go supporty liverpool or arsenal then, if u like tehir stadiums so much

MarieL
08-22-2003, 07:54 PM
Nah, I don't like english teams. Besides it's not like I would be going to a Lazio match anytime soon, and the track doesn't really bother me in the TV. I just pity the poor fans who pay a lot to go see Lazio play and then have to use binoculars to see the players' numbers.

Darran
08-23-2003, 03:44 PM
Well we must love Lazio and in Chinese there is this proverb, '' love me love my dog '', if we really love Lazio, we should love its stadium, its fans and even its rivals. That should be the case here and not admiring other team's stadiums.

MarieL
08-23-2003, 05:27 PM
Haha, that is the weirdest excuse so far Darran! I do love the club, the fans and even the rivals, but I would still be happy if the Stadio Flaminio project came true some day.

Darran
08-24-2003, 12:12 AM
If you really love them, you should not complain about the Olimpico but instead love it.

MarieL
08-24-2003, 06:01 PM
Okay, I give up! The Olimpico is fine!

...at least for the IAAF Golden league.

valdanito_10
08-25-2003, 02:34 AM
i dont see international games being played at Flaminio!

hahahaha

i win again.......

Aaron
08-25-2003, 07:15 AM
Highbury is easily one of the best Stadiums for Fans! You are so close to the players they practically come right up to you! At Olimpico you are miles away from the pitch let alone the players.

valdanito_10
08-25-2003, 07:26 AM
hahah, were in ityaly for gods sake, players clse to fans???? doesnt sound too good

Aaron
08-25-2003, 07:29 AM
Yeah i don't care, If your paying money to see football you don't want to use binoculars like Paula said. That is why Highbury is really good for the fans!

valdanito_10
08-25-2003, 07:32 AM
u dont seem to get my point when i say we play in italy!

italian fans........... :worried:

Aaron
08-25-2003, 07:36 AM
Yeah i know what you mean. But im just saying highbury is the best for epl fans

valdanito_10
08-25-2003, 04:01 PM
but were not in the epl, this is serie a!

olimpico is whaty we got, and we have to lewrn to deal with it!

Darran
08-27-2003, 10:08 PM
What's more, we don't see the song '' Non mallare mai '' being shouted in Highbury

MarieL
08-28-2003, 08:02 AM
Yeah, well I don't think many English fans know Italian...

ahmed
08-28-2003, 08:45 AM
btw:non mollare mai is not a laziale song
it s a song created by chieti's fans and lazio fans took it

valdanito_10
08-28-2003, 06:16 PM
paula always has a smart comment tomake

MarieL
08-28-2003, 06:32 PM
I know, it comes naturally.
And ahmed, so you're basically saying our fans are thieves? :silly:

Aaron
08-29-2003, 06:53 AM
What's more, we don't see the song '' Non mallare mai '' being shouted in Highbury
Why would you hear Non Mallare Mai at Highbury? :S :S

valdanito_10
08-29-2003, 03:46 PM
thats what i said...

and no paula, we borrowed it :silly:

Darran
08-29-2003, 04:57 PM
well we hear it to spur the team on and work harder in a match, just we sing So Gia Du Ore, to cheer Lazio on!

valdanito_10
08-29-2003, 08:04 PM
so? what makes u think arsenal doesnthave songs to cheer up their fans

Aaron
08-29-2003, 11:59 PM
Yeah when watching arsenal games i hear heaps of chants and songs!

Darran
08-30-2003, 02:42 AM
I am talking about Non Mallare Mai and not other chants, have you been following the thread?

valdanito_10
08-30-2003, 04:16 AM
yes i know! u said they dont sing it in higbburyy, but why owuld they, they have their own songs

MarieL
08-30-2003, 07:05 AM
You people are starting confuse yourselves again. Maybe we should just forget about this topic. ;)

valdanito_10
08-30-2003, 04:04 PM
i know why u wanna change the topic

MarieL
08-30-2003, 05:02 PM
Care to tell me? You always seem to know more than me...

valdanito_10
08-31-2003, 12:15 AM
its just that u noticed that again i was right and u were wrong! :D
kkep on triying hard my dear paula!

MarieL
08-31-2003, 07:27 AM
You right? If I only lived to see the day...
Olimpico isn't right for football, well maybe for roma.

valdanito_10
09-01-2003, 01:35 AM
if ur so unhappy with whatwe have then why dont u go support barca milan inter or real, theyall have grewat stadiums

MarieL
09-01-2003, 10:19 AM
Now you know the answer to that as well as I do Juan. I love Lazio no matter where they play, I'm just expressing my opinion, and opinions differ.

valdanito_10
09-01-2003, 11:59 AM
i undertood that at the start, when we started talking about it, but then it didnt look so much like an opinion but like a critic

MarieL
09-01-2003, 02:29 PM
No, it's not critisism really, and even if it was would I have any say in the matter? No! You were the one who started to talk about right and wrong. There are no such things when it comes to opinions. ;)

valdanito_10
09-07-2003, 02:38 AM
some ppl like u are just never happy with what they have

Darran
09-07-2003, 03:47 AM
Man, we always seem to go off-topic!

MarieL
09-07-2003, 07:06 AM
some ppl like u are just never happy with what they have
Lets just say that there is always room for improvements.

valdanito_10
09-23-2003, 11:41 PM
we have played 3 matches so far on serie a! 2 victories and one loss leaving us with 6 points

Darran
10-01-2003, 09:04 PM
We need to drastically improve and the main reason for the loss of form has got to be the defence and strikers. The defence looks extremely shaky without Stam and Gianichedda to back it up. The attackers? What can I say? Inzaghi is the only one performing, the rest like Muzzi, Claudio Lopez and Corradi are not.

It is so disappointing! Last season, Lopez and Corradi formed one of the most dynamic striking partnership in the Serie A. But this season, both of them seem to have disappeared into their own world. They are not playing well at all.
