innocenti, mendieta, baronio, manfredini came in to lazio, all back from loan apart from innocenti who came on a free tranfer.

concetti and marchegiani have left the club on free tranfers too, leaving lazio with only peruzzi as a gk.

marchegiani has joines chievo and concetti perugia!

I am sad to see a long serving keeper like Marchegiani leave the club. I hope we can sign a promising keeper who will take over Peruzzi when he retires.

Lazio have bought Ipswich ‘keeper Matteo Sereni for an undisclosed fee. "Nothing is finalised as yet, but I would say a deal is likely," said Ipswich manager Joe Royle. "We have agreed the framework of a deal with Lazio and the rest is up to Matteo and his people." Two pre-season friendlies against Lazio will also be part of the deal. A fee of a £1m has been mentioned, a lot less than the £4.5m Ipswich paid Sampdoria in 2001.

Lazio is definitely still for sale. We just need a new owner who can pump in the funds to clear our debts then we can concentrate on buying players. I think with Pizarro, Zauri, Dabo and Sereni. We are very strong. But we are not complete, we need a few centre-halves to replace the ageing ones like Mihajlovic and Couto

About Sorin and Kovacevic, it is unlikely they will return to Lazio. Kovacevic will most probably be sold to Valencia to try and reduce the debt we owe for Mendieta and Sorin was initially on loan from Cruzeiro but we did not take up the option to sign him, so I guess he is no longer a Lazio player.

Its probably yes because Dabo and Zauri joined us, so I think Innocenti had went to Atalanta if not these 2 wonderful players would not have joined Lazio and play in the match against Chelsea.

albertini and pancaro have officially switched clubs, in a dela with no cash invlved! Lazio obtain full ownership of albertini while Milan loan for one season pancaro with an option to extend it to another!


ok, why do we need Demetrio albertini!? well the important thing is thathe is a lazio player!

Along with the transfer of Casazza this is a transfer I don't really understand. But if Mancini wants them then there must be a point in this. At least Nesta and Pancaro will be happy to play together again, I'm sure.

Casazza would be a backup keeper for Sereni and Peruzzi, no doubt, its always nice to have a 3rd backup keeper as during the season, you never know what will happen. Peruzzi and Sereni might get injured and we will be left without a keeper.

But again he's old! And short as well. We already have a short keeper.

Oh okay, so he is short, but short keepers have done well too. Some keepers are only 175cm but yet they can be recognised as pretty talented. So let's give this Casazza a chance and see how he does in Lazio.

We could really use a good striker right now. We have plenty of midfielders but I'm worried about our attacking force.

Yes I know, Claudio, Corradi and Inzaghi are not enough for Lazio to compete in the CL. We need more strikers, I hope we can sign 1 striker before the 31st of July as if I am not wrong, the deadline for the CL qualification.

Yes we cartainly need another striker, a good one. I know there were talks about Di Vaio recently, and like ten different ones before that, but I think he will stay in Juve, so I don't know who to sign... :question:
The defence looks pretty good, it was also solid last year, but we still need new signings there for the future, although I think we are OK for the upcoming season. There are some talks about Castroman - Contra swap, but that belongs in the rumours thread.
Midfield is good enough :cool:

Floro Flores, I heard of him but haven't seen him on many occasions, he is fast no doubt, but what is his playing style? Does it match the way Lazio plays?

Looks like Lazio are turning there attention to Muzzi in another exachange deal.

Muzzi is a great player but he is old, it doesn't matter, he is very skillful and would be a great asset to Lazio. He can be an excellent back up striker for us, I hope he joins us as he is a Laziale through and through.

Yeah well Muzzi said that Lazio have to make the move to buy him and Pozzo has to let him leave though, Pozzo from udine also claimed Lazio have lost there chance to sign Pizzaro and Juventus would be favourites to sign him.

We really do not need Pizarro, we have Mendieta who is a far better player than Pizarro on their best day. Let's concentrate on rejuvenating Mendieta and not get a new midfielder.

Well signs looked good in our previous game, Simply we will find out who leaves in the next week before the Benfica game.

I hope Mendieta will play for us and last game he did well. But it seems that the club never stops trying sell him out.. :( At present it's said that he's very close to A.Madrid. So in Mancini's plan, a playmaker is still needed.

For the strikers, Di Vaio's coming surely requires Fiore or Corradi be out. This is a decision we must be careful to make. I'll be content with just a older striker like Muzzi be brought in, so these 4 forwards are at least just the same as last season. Expect too much is not realistic.

Well looks like Fiore will stay he indicated no reason for him to leave Lazio in the next few weeks from what i read, so all sign's look good. But Mendieta could be heading back to spain again.

If Mendieta were to leave, we would need to receive cash or else he doesn't leave and we can make use of him. I feel Mancio should give Mendieta a chance as he has shown lots of desire to get back into playing football as he did in Valencia by agreeing to the reduced contract.

Our wages should have reduced by a great deal now, that Mendieta, Castroman and probably Baggio are gone. But I maintained that Mancini made a bad decision by sending back Castroman to Velez, a loan would be a better option. I really thought this season would be Lucas', he impressed me 2 seasons ago and he was very crucial in the last half of the season when he took over Fiore in the starting eleven.

Well Longo said if we qualified for Champions League then he would sign both Solari and Kamara due we would get some funds from qualifying, i haven't really noticed much about Kamara but i read that Lazio and Roma will be going after Solari. Kamara i think would be very needed to help Lazio's strikeforce for the up and coming season

Kamara is a good choice, he is very fast and strong which is very important, if he had a great supporting midfield, I am sure he would score much much more goals than he did with Modena.

we need rotation, we will have many games to play! cesar and solari can be out two options in left midfield, and zauri and favalli our two options as left back. we can just count on 3 players ! what if favalli and cesar et injured, then we will have to change things around and playu players out of position!

butif solari finally does arrive, then he will be a starter... im sure of that

Yes! the deal of Solari is already aborted, which really upsets me cause even Mancini recognizes that Solari is a player who suits Lazio's playing style......but certainly we have already had more choices after Muzzi arriving at Lazio.....for some key moment Lopez could be arrayed at left wing position (I mean if Cesar is unavailable, etc.) without costing our attacking force.......
