Pre-seaon friendly: Lazio - Chelsea

Lazio are scheduled to play Chelsea at the Stadio Flamino in 17 days time on the 18th of July. I can't wait for this match because we will have a totally new season full of excitement. It will be a huge challenge and it will prove whether we are good enough to participate in the CL. We must get totally ready because we can't afford to slack, we have a CL qualifier to play and we mustn't go out of that.

I soooo wanna see this game. Forssell is back at Chelsea and he will most likely be playing. He's one of my favourite players (I'm sure you haven't noticed) and I would like nothing more than to see him play against our dear Lazio! And it's been ages since I've seen Lazio play! I'm going nuts!!!!

Chelsea have got a new owner, which means they are trying very hard to buy some quality players. I hope they don't get any players until after 18th July, because our players are not yet ready. We need some match practice before we can actually take on a big team.

Perhaps it will be shown on Singapore and remember the Tottenham - Lazio last season? They showed it live, I hope they show this game because this is huge.

il probably get it on espn latin america, as they show all italian pres-season freindlies, so does fox sports latin america! i doubt it rai will show it, but who knbows!

I can't wait for this match. It is so exciting, I hope we can complete the transfer for Pizarro and Jorgensen as soon as possible so that we can see them in the pre-season friendly and also the presentation. I really can't wait to see Pizarro in a Biancoceleste shirt, he has worked so hard and he really deserves to play in a team like Lazio. He would be very crucial to Lazio and I really believe that Lazio with his services and Jorgensen's will fight for Lo Scudetto this season

well it looks like it going to begreat! rai will show tthe match and there are ove 10000 chelsea fans wondering about in rome! sereni zauri and dabo are said to be presented today and might sit on the lazio bench with the squad!

unfortunately pizarro nor jorgensen or alberto will be there!

i hope lopez can clicnh a goal or two. and for mendieta, i wish one hell of a perfomance tonight!

The match is sure to be exciting, I hope I can see exceptional performances by Mendieta and Lopez, proving that we can win a quality team, we have hardly done that in the UEFA Cup.

hahhah we won 2-0 goals by inzaghino and deki! an overall great perfomance a great match that we dominated from the kick off to the end! we saw the faces of zauri and dabo and sereni on the bench, zauri and dabo came in at mins 89 just to show them off ;)

I went to Chelsea's official site to read about the game and the writer who ever it was said that "There was an obscene atmosphere in the stadium because the home fans were booing their central midfielder, Fabio Liverani, in clear racist jeers."
Even though I didn't see the game I'm pretty sure that the booing was because he didn't wanna go to Udinese. Of course I think it's wrong to boo your own players but I'm sure it wasn't racist! The english reporters always want to make Lazio fans racists.
But anyways I'm happy we won and even more happy that Chelsea didn't get a single goal! Hahaha :D

We won and I am so pleased about the fact that Inzaghi actually scored a goal. I hope he really gets some chance in Mancio's side and not get plagued by injuries like last season. About the tifosi booing Liverani, I am sure it wasn't any racists issue because 3 months ago, he threw his shirt to the Curva Nord and they cheered him so why would they boo him now? As usual, its the English media who is trying to cause some tension amongst the Lazio players.

I totally agree with you, Colonese hardly played yesterday and he thinks he deserved an improved contract? Even important players like Fiore are willing to take a paycut, I just can't understand what Colonese is thinking. It is totally crap, he should prove his worth before demanding a better contract.

Napoli looks to be his destination and Floro Flores could come, Floro is a decent young striker and he would be a good back up striker for Corradi, Lopez and Inzaghi.

We really should get rid of Colonnese, he's totally useless to us. Not to mention old! Younger blood is needed.

No doubt Colonese is getting old and he is not giving anything to us, he is just taking our precious money without contributing anything for us. Just sell him and get Floro Flores, we would do well to get a young back up striker in case Inzaghi or Corradi gets injured.
