Will RECOBA play as a FANTASISTA???

....i know that in the 4-4-2 formation there's no place for a player bihind the strikers.....but the latest rumors that INTER is about to officialise the signing of CHIVU made me wonder"will CUPER play with 3-5-2 line up????with three heavy WORLD CLASS central defenders....this kind of formation wont be a risk....(cos we all remember that catastrophic game against ATALANTA on SAN SIRO)...there's defenetly not a place for RECOBA if CUPER stubornly insists with his classic 4-4-2 line up.....and than we wont be able to pull out maximum from our strikers.....
but im convinced that CUPER learned a lot when looking things from a RETROSPECT....he's a wise person and he learned that you cant play football reliyng on you're SOLID defense.....we lost so many points from late equalisers or winner goals from our oponents....playing and guarding one goal doesnt guarantee you a damn thing......we have everything that needs to kick some serious ass...so what's the problem.....
if we want RECOBA to shine in his best light....we'll have to play him as a FANTASISTA.......i know it was his fault against the MILANESE derbies in the C.LEAGUE.....but he's just a human being....and we'll have to forgive him.......
to be honest i will be really surprised if he doesnt play in this role....if CUPER wants him as a clasical striker than he should've been sold....he cant play that well in the forward....everyone knows that.....and as far as im concerned it's better to have ADRIANO as a striker than ALVARO.....but i think that the reason that keeps him in INTER is this particular-FANTASISTA-.....:smoking:.......

Unfortunately I don't believe Recoba will play as a tre-quartista, as Cuper has been insisting on only buying players that will fit into his 4-4-2 formation when asked about his transfer policy for next season. Which leads to the question, is Recoba of any use to Inter? I am sure he won't play on the left wing again, as he couldn't really adapt to the position. Although he believes that his best position is as a second striker, I agree with elcino (our one) that he does not play well enough there to deserve a place up front as he tends to too often drop too deeply and leaves his strike partner isolated.
Also, if we are sticking with the 4-4-2, what use can Chivu be to us. We have Coco and Pasquale at LB and Cannavaro,Materazzi and Cordoba at CB. Do we really need him?

i dont know wether we need RECOBA or not......in 4-4-2 formation he's practicly uselles......if we sign PERROTTA than EMRE can comfortable play on the left(afcorse if we dont buy a cool left winger)wich leaves RECOBA on the margines....:confused:....and if this is the situation..i dont understand why he was withdrawn from the TRANSFER list.....:rolleyes:......but it's logical to think that we'll use 3-5-2 formation more often than expected......

Nice to see you 2 elcino and its nice 2 be back also. I haven't posted in the last year or whatever because I have moved and haven't had regular internet access. Should be able to post frequently now though, for the next few months at least.

About Recoba, I just don't understand why Cuper won't give the 3-4-1-2 a chance. We have the players to fit it perfectly, J Zanetti is a natural wing-back and Coco has often played there with the nazionale. Cannavaro has said he is most suited to a three man defence and Materazzi has played in one with Perugia. As we have no wingers, this would be the perfect solution to that problem.

We could buy Chivu to sure up the defence and maybe another midfielder or 2 to give us some depth.
Using the 4-4-2 though, I can't see where Recoba would fit in and agree that he shouldn't have been taken off the transfer list.

Taking Recoba off the market does not mean anything, Ronaldo was untransferrable and look what happened, anyone can go ... what if ManU asked for Recoba in exchange for Giggs would we refuse just because we made an official statement saying he's not for sale? .... anyhow, if he does stay I think he'll warm the bench and often be used as a sub. for left wing and attack... and I would really rule out the 3-5-2 formation.

....yeah everyone is transferable.......but putting an accent on RONALDO'S case,doesnt make the comparation between him and RECOBA valid......cos he wanned to leave and he was desperate in doint that.....when a player doesnt want to play...you have no choice but let him go......the price was lowered becouse there wasnt any other solution....even if MORRATI begged him to stay he would've left INTER.....and ALVARO situation is diferent,he wants to stay
....GIGGS is lot more useful than RECOBA....:D....so i dont see that happening....+they'll after RONALDINHO who'll become the best fantasista in the world....
and rulling out the 3-5-2 formation is a mistake....CUPER tryed that even when we didnt had players who'll play comfortable in that tipe of tactic....and if CHIVU is signed...there'll be a huge possability to see that formation.....
and RECOBA-CRESPO-VIERI triangle looks pretty deadly....so it's not a surprise if we see that more often.......

i think if he go to la liga.. he will be the best player, he had the number 1 technique in the worl, the fastest and the smarest player since Maradona.
in Italy, it`s hard to find succes (you can ask roberto carlos and zidan and..!!).. it`s a hard league.. but Recoba was bigger than that.. althought in Inter the Defensive way is the aim strategy!! but he have won the respect of all how watched his play style that no one compare!
