These constant Kewell rumours have got me extremely excited. There is no other player i would want more then him right now. Im willing to lose parlour, jeffers, gio or whoever it takes to get the funds. Emerton and Guti would also be very useful. What does everyone else think?

Anyway it doesnt matter anymore, he's signed for Liverpool. Im so angry at Arsenal, i dont think we did everything we could to get this great player. Well this will probably signal the rise of Liverpool and its up to us to get some new blood in now. We havent even got enough cash to offer Bergkamp a proper contract, whats wrong with us. I understand the new stadium is costing us $$$$ but we need to strenghthen our squad.

the new faces will have 2b from our youth team
Pennant is ready to break through
Svard, Juan and Volz have been loaned out first half of the season (copenhagen, millwall& fulham) and may be ready after Xmas
and Aliadiere can be as good as a new signing
Kanu looked as good as he has 4a long time preseason
and bentley and halls may also be able to make the step up

most important imo will be Kolo at centreback, pacy strong aggresive and calm on the ball (og v villa aside!) could easily be revelation of the season in defence

all this doom and gloom is pre-emptive
1st wenger is criticised for underusing the youth setip
then criticised for not signing the players that will stop our youngsters break through!

Your right JD if we cant keep our players we r done. It is still not for sure with Viera and if we lose him there are rumours that Wenger might leave soon after. But thos r just rumours. I am a little worried that we didnt add a good defender, i like kolo but we need real experience. For now we will have to b happy with what we have. I really like Penant and Aliadiere, but i dont think Kanu is a safe bet, he can put in a good performance sometimes though. Arsene is gonna have to prove to us that the youth he rarely uses can work. Atleast we r in the same boat with Man U who will also have to relay on their youngsters too. What do u think about chelseas chances?

Puyol doesnt wanna leave and his coach wants him to stay so i dont think they will get him unless they put up an excellent offer. Defoe also doesnt seem like he will move his coach is doing his best to keep him. They ve got Kleberson thats if he gets the permit. It looks they might come out a little weaker this season with keane havin problems. But we will see. I think it will be fight between who has the better youths
