obviously its a bit early to tell
I'm sure we all still harbour faint hopes/fantasies about amazing signings our clubs may make
(and we all know those brilliant players we want will prob end up an manure)
but how do u all feel about next season
I have to say i can't see any1 breaking the manure/arsenal stranglehold on the league
Liverpool simply must improve or Hooflier has to go -they are linked to Cisse a brilliant striker, but what they really lack is creativity
Chelsea have to hold onto the players they have, and both Gallas and Terry (two of the best young centrebacks in europe) are waiting on contract offers (please cup up the road to le maison de football William)
Newcastle won't get as much out of shearer as they did this season and that will be impossible to replace. I think they will have to invest heavily to stand still.
Leeds can't get worse, but they can get more boring - looks like a longball season in Yorkshire. midtable imo
Everton may even improve and make europe - Hibbert and rooney have saved them millions in the transfer market - Yobo was a snip at £4M. I think they can make 6th place.
Villa to have yet another season of consolidation -top half
Sperz won't fluke such a great start this year and will struggle from day one. If Wolves really do invest £20M and hold on2 Joleon lescott (best defender in nationwide imo - even better than Dawson) they could finish midtable.
I think Birmingham may find their second season harder
Charlton and Fulham both need investment
pompey have also promised signings so wait on them
Mickey Adams is a promotion king - can Leicester survive in the top flight on strength and organisation? imo no way, that longball stuff won't wash with top defenders but MA is a pragmatist maybe he knows their style will have to change
S'oton can match this season (best ever 8th place) and will ahve their first derby in ages
B'oro and Blackburn are good sides with good managers- both top half
City as usual hard to predict - defence useles without Distin- Foe will be hard to replace and bernabia is getting on (but can him and eyal play together in the prem anyway) I'll go gung-ho - anelka and fowler to catch fire and shoot them up the table
Bolton to struggle to a) retain their foriegn stars and b) stay up - Bergsson will be hard to replace (especially if laville doesn't sign) - must hold on2 Fransen and JJ
brief overview anyway - any comments?
