I think it was important to sell that 50% to Parma, because we had to lure them with something to get Canna
Remember Canna was on the verge of joining Milan or Juve

......and we made a huge mistake again my friend......it's true that CANNAVARO was allready in talks with JUVE and aspecially with MILAN......but ADRIANO's 50% tHAT WAS SOLD TO parma WERE UNNESESSARY.....we would've signed NESTA....if MORRATI was wiser and waited a litlle bit longer!!!...it was obvious that LAZIO wanned to sell NESTA....and MILAN bought him for half of the price that we offered.......how pathetic.......:mad2:.......we rushed things and acted hastily......afcorse if you think that CANNAVARO is a better DEFENDER than NESTA than it's ok........;)........

Unnecessary??? How'd you know that ? Did Tinzi call you and said "Those Inter guys sold us 50% of Adriano's contract hoping that we sell them Cannavaro, well they can just keep dreaming" C'mon eLcino, get real, Adriano "half" move to Parma proved to be in the interest of everyone in Parma and Inter as well as the player himself.

....one way or another those 50% doesnt matter much.....maybe it was becouse of CANNAVARO but he would've joined us regardles of the ADRIANO situation....perhaps INTER made that kind of a deal to show that ADRIANO is a world class player...cos loaning him would humiliate a player like him.....loaning players is not that bad...but this was deal.....
when the time is RIGHT he'll return in INTER.......
the mistake was becouse we acted hastily.....we sold 50% of ADRIANO too early even before the TRANSFER portal opened.....after that a lot of complications happened when RONALDO left on the last day....so what if LAZIO didnt wanned to sell CRESPO???...they had dificulties...but you can newer know what's coming.......
but the fact is that we could've signed NESTA.....the best C.DEFENDER in the business.....

I have to agree with elcino, We acted too fast without looking on all possible options. Knowing that Ronaldo might leave the team we should have kept Adriano long enough. It's usually easy to sell or loan a player of Adriano's caliber.

And Cannavaro - he did have a poor season. Hope this might change, but then why we're going after Stam? Guess one of them shall leave ... or it will be Matrix to go... He played very rude at the end of the season with his challenges on Sheva. That was very low behaviour from him.

anyway the whole thing is getting complicated again....

now I think of Chivu, what shall we do with him then if we buy him?

I am afraid we will buy Chivu then Stam and then Kily and then would have another creativity lacking season.

After all our defence isn't that bad and if we reinforce it then all the money will be gone just on stupid transfer policy again...
